Our UTV (Side by Side) Night Tours are the best way to combine some of the best sights the Tamarindo area has to offer, all in one memorable adventure.

Our UTVs are equipped with 30″ Tusk LED bar light kits and LED light whips on the back, which allow you to drive safely at night, but also see the amazing scenery from a completely different perspective.

This tour is one hour of daylight riding time and 2 hours of night riding.

The first stop on this tour is sunset at Bahia de Pirates. Next you will visit Playa Minas and hopefully see nesting black turtles or green turtles. This is one of the most beautiful beaches in the Tamarindo area – a breathtaking spot to experience nature first hand.

There’s also no better spot to stargaze – on a clear night a stunning array of stars will fill the sky.

We also stop in a typical Costa Rican cantina where you can enjoy a local beer.

All riders must wear a helmet and reflective safety strap. Please note that your guide can cancel a tour at any time due to unsafe conditions like heavy rain or lightning.

In the rainy season you will bust through rivers and puddles so expect to get extremely dirty!

Night rides begin at 4 PM and end at 7 PM. UTV tours start in Tamarindo.

What To Bring

• Comfortable, light clothing that you are not worried about damaging
• A change of clothes for after the tour
• Sneakers or closed toe shoes are mandatory

Please Note

Children 16 and under must ride as passengers (charged as passenger, not as a driver). Children 16 years and older can drive their own UTV as long as they have a valid driver’s license.

Our ATV & UTV Tours are very different in the rainy and dry seasons – Tamarindo is extremely dry during the dry season and there is little or no mud or water. We do our best to ensure each tour is a great experience for all of our guests, regardless of the weather. We can not guarantee what you will see on a night tour. Seeing nesting turtles is only possible in specific months of the year. If you have questions about what to expect please let us know before booking your tour.

UTV / Side x Side Tours require a minimum of two people riding one UTV. We can not run a tour with only one person riding in one UTV.
