Tour Details
The boat trip into the estuary offers a unique opportunity to observe the abundant wildlife of the tropical dry forest, while learning about the unique ecosystem of the mangrove forest. While sailing up the estuary you’ll be able to experience iguanas, crocodiles and lots of different species of wading birds right in front of you.Half way through the tour you will have the chance to get off the boat and into the national park. Here you can see the howler monkeys, raccoons and other exotic animals in the treetops above.
Transportation to the estuary, bottled water and fruit is included.

Departure
The Estuary Tour departs everyday at 8 AM or 3 PM.

Please Note
Children 5 & under are free, 16 and under must ride as passengers (charged as passenger, not as a driver). Children 16 years and older can drive their own ATV.
Our ATV Tours are very different in the rainy and dry seasons – Tamarindo is extremely dry during the dry season and there is little or no mud or water. We do our best to ensure each tour is a great experience for all of our guests, regardless of the weather.
